Warm Olives with Citrus and a Splash of Gin

The perfect addition to any party platter, these Warm Olives with Citrus and Gin are an explosion of flavour for your palette. Enjoy with cheese, pasta, salad or by themselves.

  • ⅓ cup high quality olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, cut in half vertically
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon peel, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp orange peel, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 oz gin
  • 2 cups mixed olives


No. 1 | Add olive oil and garlic into a small saucepan on medium-low heat. Once the ingredients begin to heat up and bubble, stir in the citrus peels, peppercorns and rosemary and heat for two minutes.

No. 2 | Add the gin, orange juice and olives and stir to coat. Lower the heat and allow to cook for 8-10 minutes, until olives are heated through. Turn off the heat, and allow to cool slightly, 5-10 minutes.

No. 3 | Serve on a cheese board, mezze board, and just eat them by themselves.
